The Ann Arbor College of Martial Arts Kids' Day Camps are a great way for energetic kids to channel their energy while they are on break. A parent's work does not simply stop when their kids are out of school, and child supervision is still a necessity. We hope to provide a safe and stimulating environment that your children can continue to learn in during their break.
Our Summer Day Camp is unsurpassed in the Ann Arbor area. Every day, our camp will "explore" the Ann Arbor area with a mini-field trip. These trips include locations such as the Zap Zone, Buhr Park, Colonial Lanes, and more! Even if it's rainy, our camp will still be open with our rainy day backup schedule. Once every week, children in our camp will go on a longer day trip to locations further away. These locations include the Detroit Zoo, the Dundee Indoor Water Park, and more! In addition to our various trips, students will have at least two hours of outdoor activities each day (weather permitting). Throughout the camp, children will learn about valuable life skills, such as discipline, respect, leadership, and conflict resolution. Last, but certainly not least, children will be taught our Children's Martial Arts program, emphasizing self-protection, personal development, and fun!
We intend to continue the learning process during the summer for our children, develop and maintain a healthy outlook toward self-development, encourage a sense of health and well-being through stimulating play, and provide an alternative to daycare during the summer. The Ann Arbor College of Martial Arts' Summer Day Camp focuses on team-building exercises, leadership development, character development, creative problem-solving, physical fitness, and most importantly, having fun!

Camps run Monday-Friday from 8am - 4pm. Early drop off and aftercare flexibility are available at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

Camp Pricing
Camps are $200.00 per week plus the cost of off-site field trips to zoos, museums, and waterparks. Parents must provide all meals. There is a 15% discount for early registration, and family and referral discounts are also offered. Discounts are also offered for stays of multiple weeks: the longer they stay, the less you pay!
About Our Staff
Our Summer Day Camp counselors are hand-picked to ensure that they have what it takes to keep your children safe. Counselors are required to go through a background check and CPR training in order to be a part of our staff. All counselors are also trained in our martial arts program in order to keep your children safe from outside harm.

Our camp director is Marc Morisseau. Mr. Morisseau has worked with camps for over 6 years as a Counselor and Team Leader. He has worked with Think Detroit-Pal, the Detroit Police Department's Athletic League, Quantum Learning's Academic Summer Camp, University of Michigan-sponsored academic summer camps, and has participated in camps that were voted the #1 camps in Metro Detroit for several years running. |
